Play independently

For the past two weeks or so, ever since I discovered my love for puzzles again, I have not been disturbing MaMa much during the day at all. Most of the time I would be busy playing my puzzles over and over (reminder to my dear parents, please get me some new puzzles, thank you very much).

I started pretend play several months ago and for the past two weeks or so, I could play on my own, pretending with my bears, trains, soft toy puppies, etc for more than an hour each time; talking, making sounds, make my own pretend cars, boats, water, etc.

I don’t watch much TV. In fact I hardly switch it on unless MaMa asks me to watch something. I will watch it if I feel like it. Otherwise, I will just switch it off.

35pc puzzles

I am able to complete a 35pc Thomas & Friends puzzles completely on my own. But not without MaMa & DaDa helping me to complete it 2-3 times first. After that my parents became lazy and asked me to complete it on my own and I successfully proved to them that I could complete it without any help, a few days ago :)

Puzzles are my favourite for the time being. When I was younger, I used to get frustrated and threw the puzzle pieces away as I couldn’t match them together. Mama and DaDa got very tired of picking and looking for the puzzle pieces all over the house and so they kept most puzzles away from me.

So far, I have only done 12pcs, 28pcs and 35pcs puzzles. MaMa and DaDa, I think it is time to get me more puzzles, pretty please?

Happy 3rd Birthday

Today I turned 3!
Mommy had been very busy that she had to backdate this post to put my b’day on record

Wrote my name

Mommy found this on my doodlepro this evening. For the first time, mommy saw me wrote my name in the correct order and on a single line. Most of all, I wrote it on my own initiative without mom and dad’s presence

In the past I’d write my name on two separate lines and jumbled up the alphabets. Photo below was what I wrote this evening though my letter “H” didn’t turn out too good and you could hardly see my “P” because after writing, I would usually draw eyes and mouth on all alphabets that has some rounded curves on them, hehehe.

Orange cloud

Today I noticed something different in the cloud, it was orange in colour. I asked mommy what was that when I looked out the window. Mommy told me it was just the cloud. Then mommy took me to the backyard to have a better view of the cloud.  Wow the orange cloud was awesome!

I could also see the moon most of the time

Spelled my name

Sometime last week I surprised mommy and daddy by spelling my name off by heart.
